Only In My L.A.

Walk into a dermatologist’s office anywhere else in America, and chances are you’ll see a bunch of teenagers in the waiting room trying to fix their backne. But not in my L.A. I recently went for an annual checkup and all five people waiting just so happened to be white women in their late 30’s early 40’s, (although can you even tell at this point?) with wrinkle-free expressionless skin. These women were there for one reason and one reason only. To get their injections. To get that good stuff.

Yeah, you’ll see some crazy faces in L.A. all right. I recently had the privilege of seeing a space alien monkey face, (I’m sorry, but sometimes you have to call a spade a spade) putting on lip gloss at Tony’s Taverna in Malibu. It was oh so horrible, but in a weird way kinda wonderful at the same time.  It actually made my day, if you wanna know the truth.

So I guess there’s some good to them after all. They’re like walking science experiments for the general public to gawk at.   Everything has its value.
